About Me
I am a 19 year old Classics student at a University of London university and I use a mobility scooter. I love to get involved and am enthusiastic. This year I was elected into my university's students union executive commitee which took a lot of courage and commitment due to the minority of disabled students at my university. I am very determined, I never give up and I have always wanted to make a difference.
TV/Film, Theatre or Modelling Experience
Although I have no widely public experience in acting or modelling I recently had the opportunity to have a professional photoshoot which I really enjoyed.
Most of my experience has been behind the scenes, I was part of the Hackney sector of Chicken Shed drama school and enjoyed taking part in two productions. One on stage and the other designing and controlling the lighting.
I also entered an MTV competion in which I co-wrote, co-designed, co-edited and filmed a music video which reached the top ten in the UK.
Special Skills or What makes you Extra Ordinary?
I have never let my disability control my life and never let it come between me and what I want to do. I am adventurous and passionate about travelling and am about to experience San Francisco in America.
I am also passionate about music, I learned to play the piano and am learning to play the guitar.
I also enjoy sailing and plan to take part in a Tall Ships expedition next year.
