About Me
HI, my name is teresa, i live in the east end of London. 15 years ago i was attacked where i worked. I worked as residential social worker for special needs(learning difficulties) the attack was over several hours,as a result i was unable to work again.
In their wisdom doctors have given me many labels& diagnosis,(manic depressive, biapola disorder, agraphobic, personality disorder, P T S D, suicidal,) but FUN to be around.
I love a challenge& have a lot of LIFE experience(devorced, single parent,bereivement,mental health e.t.c)
I have took to task my fight against Agrophobia, i'm determined to not let it rule my life,at its most servere i was house bound for 8 to 9 years ( just managing DOCTOR appointments) many times i was at a very low ebb, contemplating suicide.
I began to fight back and told myself i was not going to be a victim anymore. I found a new strength to move forward after a death in the family, i was need by my sister to give her support.
this had a domino affect on me and i started to go to a support group. This led to work shops on self esteem training, and a drama group gave me great confidence to move on even furher.
Now i have been involved with other service users,training profestionals in Mental health.
(PHEW) heavy..... On a lighter note LIFES A BITCH.....
